Drawing inspiration from the shape of the tajin or tagine – the traditional lidded earthenware cooking pot used in Morocco for more than a thousand years – our Loukkos ceiling light is a delight to behold. Its bold floral patterning – all the more visible when the light is illuminated – is cleverly delineated by the sections of brass not perforated by the countless tiny holes painstakingly hand-punched into the metal by our maalem.
